Are you a genius?

This is quite amazing..

If you see this lady turning in clockwise you are using your right brain. If you see it the other way, you are using left brain. Some people do see both ways, but most people see it only one way.

Supposedly, if you try to see it the other way and if you do see, your IQ is above 160 which is almost a genius. Then see if you can make her go one way and then the other by shifting the brain's current.

So, how did you do? Is there a trick to getting her to switch directions? Is this interesting, or what? Initially, I could make her change direction fairly easily, and now I can't anymore. If anyone figures out the "trick" let me know.

I found a long commentary of people trying to figure it out here. If you get really fascinated, or really frustrated, or both, you could go and see what they have to say about how they got it to work (or not work) for them.

I'm definitely not a genius - I'm strictly a right brainer.

The observation about self care, abandonment, and resistance to work/finances is interesting. Funny - I was abandoned too! but perhaps not as long as you were. Over the years, my most acute misery had to do with resisting impulses for self care, resisting desire to work and for discipline, and resisting dealing with the reality of finances, relationships, and the body I was given to live in. Looking back, I'd have to say it was the resistance - not the thing I was or wasn't doing - that tortured me the most.

Resistance... YES! My dearest doppleganger!

I think resistance must be everybody's demon... don't you think?

By the way, yesterday that girl was going counter clockwise, and today she is clockwise... What an interesting thing.

I have been able to get her to change direction by slowly moving my hand across her image and saying in my mind... now she is going to switch.

When I first look at the girl, then her shadow leg, the shadow leg starts to spin the other direction - then if I immediately look back up at the girl, she will be spinning the opposite direction that she was spinning before. But if I stare at the shadow leg too long before looking back at the girl, she will start to change direction then will revert back to the original direction. Weird!
