Mahakali On The Half Shell?

Kali depicted in shells

So I was researching pictures for my post on Chinnamasta, and I found this wonderful little piece of shell art. It depicts the goddess Kali standing on her husband Shiva. I am continually astonished and amazed by the creativity of my fellow artists. I saw this, and I almost (key word being almost) wanted to make one of my own!

I wonder, do people really buy stuff like this? Would you? Because I don't think I would even be tempted. I might want to make one, but I'd never buy one.
